We are scheduling times for students to get items from their lockers, turn in work and return books. We will also be handing out certificates for winter and spring sports, 3rd quarter honor roll, all year honor roll and 2 year honor roll.
Click the link above to sign up for a time slot. We are scheduling May 11-14 between noon and 7:00pm. There are ten minute slots with a maximum of 10 students per timeslot. Students will have 10 minutes to come in, get their items and turn items in. Once they have finished, they need to exit the building and leave the property. No congregating will be permitted. Students will enter the main doors by the office and then exit the building through the doors to the walkway (between the auditorium and gym).

There is so much
uncertainty in our world right now. So many questions without answers. How long
will we be out of school? How long will it be before I can play sports? When
can I get together with my friends again? What will tomorrow bring? How long
will it be before I can go to the store and find toilet paper?!?! With so much
uncertainty, Olaf’s words ring true. Let’s not focus on what we cannot control,
let’s make the best out of what we can control! Life seems to have become so
very busy for everyone. That has definitely changed... Use this as a time to
refocus. Disconnect and reconnect. Put down the electronic devices from time to
time and reconnect with family. Get outside and rediscover what nature has to
offer. Get lost in a book. You are in charge of your educational opportunities
during this closure. Yes, we will be providing resources and educational
opportunities for you. However, what you do and how you utilize them will be in
large part, up to you. Will you avoid them, do enough just to get by, or will
you take full advantage of your opportunities?
Please know that
flexibility will be a key word over the closure. Information changes every day
and the plan may change regularly. We will do our very best to keep open lines
of communications and provide updates often. The McDowell website will be a
good place to check often. We will also put updates on Twitter and send One
Call Now messages.
