How to use Google Drive in "offline" mode

The link below will give you instructions for how to use Google Drive in "offline" mode. I understand that many of you already know how to do this, but I wanted to level the playing field and make sure everyone has the same information. If you have "spotty" or unreliable internet, if you have a lot of people sharing a connection, or if you are concerned about data caps and overage charges, this can be a big help and good tool. Basically, it allows you to access and work on files without being online. Then you can share the files later when you're back online. Follow the directions below to make files available offline and how to make your offline work available online again.
