In our College and Career Readiness class at the middle school, Mr. Evan Blake has had students researching different careers. 8th grader, Carson Hart took a big step and called Mr. Blake's brother, Adam, who is a barber/stylist at Mountain Man Salon in Dahlonega, Georgia. Carson is very passionate about pursuing a career in this industry and after an hour long phone conversation, Adam surprised Carson with his own set of JRl clippers and a VGR Trimmer. Mr. Blake said, "We have had a ton of good interviews and responses for our students. Hopefully this is just one example of many where our students can look back and realize that this single activity could lead to something great in their future!"
