The shortlist of CMRs have been released. The shortlist, in alphabetical order, includes:
- Elford, Inc.
- Robertson Construction Services
- Summit Construction Company
The next step will be to hold "pre-interview" meetings with each company; formal interviews and the selection of a CMR will follow at a later date.
The district's Visioning Team will meet with Fanning Howey in February 2020. Selected students, staff and community members will work with the architects for the first round of discussions regarding how we envision teaching and learning to look in our new facility.
We are working with Ohio Facilities Construction Commission to select a "shortlist" of CMR (Construction Manager at Risk) for the construction of the new building.

Fanning Howey Architects, Interiors, and Engineering were selected by the Ohio Facilities Construction Commission (O.F.C.C.) and Logan Elm Local Schools as the architect to design our PK-12 building. The District is looking forward to the next stage of the project.

Logan Elm Local School District, in conjunction with Ohio Facilities Construction Commission, released the shortlist of architect firms to be interviewed for architecture and design services for the new PK-12 school building.
It is anticipated that the firms will be interviewed later in December 2019, which selection of a firm announced in late December 2019 or early January 2020. The District expects to begin the visioning and design process in early 2020.

As part of the construction process, each District must chose a delivery model for their project. For the upcoming project, Logan Elm Schools have chosen the delivery model, Construction Manager at Risk (CM at Risk). Today, Ohio Facilities Construction Commission (O.F.C.C) in conjunction with Logan Elm Local Schools, posted the Request for Qualifications (R.F.Q) to obtain a CM at Risk for their upcoming project.
In November 2018, Logan Elm residents approved a bond issue to contruct a new PK-12 school on the Tarlton Road campus. The funds from this bond issue as well as funds from Ohio Facilities Construction Commission (OFFC) will be used to design and construct a modern, safe school for all Logan Elm students.
The District, working with OFCC, is in the process of selecting an architect for the project.

- Week of Decmeber 16, 2019 District and OFCC will interview selected firms
It is anticipated that the design phase of the construction project will begin in February 2020.
Meet the Project Team
Owner: Logan Elm Board of Education; Superintendent, Tim Williams and Treasurer, Steve McAfee are district representatives. The Board of Education has also employed Mike Mendenhall of Mendenhall MCS and Associates to represent them during the planning and construction phases of the project.

Architect: To Be Determined. RFQs were due on November 18, 2019 with interviews scheduled for December 2019.
