Tim Williams, Superintendent, Award

We want to congratulate Logan Elm Local School District Superintendent Tim Williams, who received the 2026 Buckeye Association of School Administrators (BASA) Exemplary Leadership Award at the organization’s annual fall conference on October 6 in Columbus!

Mr. Williams was recognized as the District 5 award recipient, joining nine other school leaders from across Ohio who were each recognized by their respective BASA regions for their outstanding leadership.

The BASA Exemplary Leadership Award is presented to one leader in each BASA region who has demonstrated outstanding educational leadership and made significant contributions to educational administration in a school district, educational service center, or educational institution.

Mr. Williams is in his 15th year as superintendent at Logan Elm. Prior to serving as superintendent, he was a principal, teacher, and coach in the district and has spent many years serving Logan Elm students, staff and families.

Following the award, Mr. Williams shared what the recognition means to him and the people who make Logan Elm such a special place:

“It is truly an honor and humbling to receive an award voted on by my peers, individuals who understand the responsibilities and demands of serving as a superintendent.

This recognition is a reflection of the incredible people who make Logan Elm such a special place. I am especially thankful for our students, whose curiosity, creativity, and talents inspire me every day. I am equally grateful for our dedicated staff and administration, who work to support our students and provide them with opportunities to learn, grow, and succeed.

I also want to recognize and thank our Board of Education for their leadership and support, and our families and community for the tremendous pride they have in Logan Elm. The partnership between our schools and our community is what makes this such a special place to work and an even better place to live.

I am truly blessed to be part of the Logan Elm family. This recognition belongs to all of us and serves as a reminder of what we can accomplish when we work together. I am deeply appreciative of the opportunity to serve this district and community.”
